Vocals: Gemma Luna :: Percussion: Ben Johnson and Kris Ledrew
Original version appears on Collectivity
The original version of this song was written for my Juno-nominated album, Fusion, but instead was released on the Dakini Records compilation, Tribal Matrix. A subsequent edit made it on to my album Collectivity. Fast forward eight years and I find myself able to at last re-explore the original vocals of Gemma Luna from a new perspective. By adding tighter drums, a new Drumspyder-style bassline and Arabic strings, I created a new, funky arrangement of a classic tune.
