Producer and Writer Duke Mushroom (EarthRise SoundSystem, Go-Ray & Duke, Masood Ali Khan & The Yoga Sessions Series) singing under his artist name, “Tete Bero”, releases a new song in support of Sadhguru’s global “Save Soil” campaign.
“I was so moved by SaveSoil.org and Sadhguru’s personal sacrifice to ride his motorcycle 30,000 kilometers across the world to carry this message of soil restoration, conservation and awareness. Global warming, desertification, water shortages and rising carbon levels all get addressed by restoring and maintaining the biodiversity of healthy soil.
So I asked myself, what can I do to contribute? And the answer was to write and record a song with the best musicians around to help spread the word on soil and to support the awareness of the Save Soil campaign."
Singing under his artist name, Tete Bero (Tëté Bēro), the song also features Indian singer, Suvi, Dave Eggar on Cellos and orchestrations, Kish Rico from the Mayapuri’s on Mridangam and whompers, Sam Babayan on Guitars along with Duke Mushroom’s signature rhythm section of drums, bass and percussion driving the train.
The song, like the movement, starts gently and continues to build and build, ending on the climatic prayer of “Save Soil and bring us back…Home”
